Aplon

Privacy

This notice explains how Aplon handles personal information submitted through its website and application. Updates are published with a new effective date.

Effective September 5, 2026

Information we collect

When you request the blog workbook, we collect the work email address you enter, the article that led to the request, a unique request identifier, and limited technical request information used to validate the origin and prevent abuse. When you contact Aplon, we also collect the information you choose to provide in the contact form. In the application, we handle account and team information, project documents and billing records supplied by your organization. Stripe collects payment details; Aplon stores billing references and does not store customer banking credentials.

How we use it

We use this information to deliver the requested workbook, keep an internal record of the request, answer enquiries, secure the form, and meet legal obligations. A workbook request does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list. Application information supports your organization’s billing workflow, account security, authorized collaboration, billing and audit records.

Service providers and disclosure

Resend processes the email delivery for Aplon. The delivery is also blind-copied to an Aplon-controlled inbox so the request can be recorded and supported. Resend is a U.S. provider, so delivery information may be processed outside Quebec, including in the United States, and may be subject to the laws that apply there. We do not sell personal information. Google Cloud provides application hosting, storage and document processing. Stripe provides billing and payment services. These services may process information outside Quebec, including in the United States.

Retention and safeguards

Personal information received through the website is kept for no more than 24 months after the request or last relevant exchange, then deleted or anonymized. It may be kept longer when support is still active or security, a dispute, or the law requires it. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for those purposes. Application content follows the applicable customer agreement and retention policy. At offboarding, customers receive a 30-day viewing and export window. Access then closes and content is marked for manual disposition; required billing and audit records are retained.
